Tennessee Hills Tap Handle Design

We are a “Brewstillery” which is a brewery and a distillery at one location. This project is to design a beer tap handle that can be mass produced for beer distribution.

We are looking for a tap handle design. It can be over the top or very minimalistic - we will know it when we see it. We are new to the beer scene as the company was originally founded as a distillery. The width of the tap handle cannot be too wide or it will knock into adjacent handles which is max width 2.6inch and height between 10-12inches. The handle should be instantly recognizable and readable from all directions for maximum visibility.

We are completely open to suggestions. We don’t want to throw out too many ideas that may influence designers one way or another. Since we initially started as a distillery we wouldn’t mind “distillery” elements in the design. We have considered incorporating a “pot still” on top of the handle or a “continuous column” as part of the handle itself. Other ideas include barrel staves etc…. Our brand colors are Black, Gold, and White. Since our name is Tennessee Hills” we aren’t against incorporating “Tennessee” elements such as the Tri-Star portion of the state flag or the actual colors of the flag (Red, White, Blue). The shape of Tennessee may be an idea as well. Our goal is to grow our beer brand into one of the largest in the state.
