Brett Mahar is a chemical engineer based in Melbourne, Australia. Brett has an interest in the many challenges involved in colonising a planet. This book came from a personal challenge; if you could only use current technologies and near-future iterations, what would be the most likely successful strategy to colonise Mars. Twenty-five lined up identical modules, their dimensions eleven meters by three meters. Each module with a purpose and located underground to protect the crew from radiation. Chase has full decision making power, but his privacy is forfeited, as the entertainment company TronTV is streaming their every move to Earth. Chase is suspicious, nobody gets given the opportunity of a lifetime without there being a tremendous cost. Supporting his suspicions is the frustrating AI, September, which despite all the technology at his disposal, is only predicting a 2% chance of surviving a full two years. Chase is sure the price will be his life, and possibly the lives of his crew. Can he learn quickly enough to understand the scope of the TronTV game, before he has to suffer the consequences?

I note that my book is based under ground. Only robots go on the surface. Underground there is a tunnel, with 25 modules, connected in a long line, which is how it gets its name train.
