We definitely want to have an emblem or design that can be used as a stand alone symbol on a hat, shirt, letterhead, etc. with our acronym (BSDG). We want something a little more modern/techy and combination of literal and abstract which are a little conflicting. Among some of our ideas is using a leaf as a letter "D" for BSDG or the Green "S" leaf for the S. We really like the hex/globe concept in some form but not locked in with it and open to anything. Could also be a cube or other shape with the hex grid or not at all... With that thought, we've considered Combining Hexagonal sphere with cradling leaf logo at attached and morph leaf into hexagonal and mesh bulb, drop, flame, frost, etc. Not sure if it works or not but have considered the image transitioning from the more natural/organic leaf into more geometric hex's. Maybe hex sphere is part water drop and maybe light bulb? Maybe the hex sphere is partially open and outside has some images and inside surface of sphere is flame. Maybe there's more leaf/green on outside but other images on the inside. Maybe of the individual hexagons can be a snowflake. Maybe light shining out of cracks between hexes or out from behind whole logo. Maybe casts a shadow on the letters or lights the letters. Maybe parts of the hexes are falling or floating away to mesh into and/or create the BSDG. The "B" could start building from two Hexes. Buildings could be part of the logo, in the sphere, behind, forefront or part of the letters some how. Leaves, light bulbs, water drops and flames all morph together well having similar shapes. We are "green" but that's not our main focus so can lose the leaf or minimize it. Also, we've attempted some logo designs before and tried to incorporate too much of the flame, frost, fire, light bulb, leaf, water drop and got way too busy. We like grays with minimal color such as an electric blue, green or gray/blue/minimal orange. Our current logo is attached.
