Who We Are - We are CMOCoaches.com. This organization is made up of former CMO's (Chief Marketing Officers) who will coach and counsel current CMO's during their first year in their new company. Our former CMO's, who will be our faculty and coaches, are from leading Fortune 500 companies (such as Pepsico, Facebook, Goggle, etc.).
Who We Want To Attract - The target audience (i.e. potential clients) will be Chief Marketing Officers in their late 30's to early 50's and will be equally split between men and women. They are in high pressure roles where the career stakes are very high (and their odds of success are relatively low). While they are very knowledgeable about all things related to marketing, they have never had specific training to teach them how to work effectively with other senior executives and their Board. We also want to make them aware of "career killers" that have ended other CMO careers, as detailed in the following paragraph.
What We Help Them With - We are going to focus on helping our clients deal with a wide variety of political and cultural issues, such as working with a Board, how to team up with your boss (the CEO), how to network, how to manage various types of management crises, etc. We will be teaching them thru a variety of means, including lectures, case studies, role playing and other techniques.
Who We're Competing Against - Our competition includes a.) individual professional "life" coaches and b.) professional marketing organizations. Our unique advantages are a.) we are a group of experienced marketing and management executives, so we can leverage our collective experiences and knowledge, b.) we will be working with a small group of clients on an intense, year long basis, so we'll really get to know them and what they need and c.) we have been providing professional training for over 20 years and knows what works best.
Who Makes The Buying Decision - We expect the company hiring the new CMO (i.e. the Chief People Officer) will decide to use our CMOCoaches.com service to help the newly hired CMO. We initially plan on offering our services in the US and would expand to other markets (such as Europe and Asia) in future years. This is going to be an investment between $15-25k per client so the logo needs to reflect a high degree of professionalism and expertise.
Future Logo Considerations - We will also offer a week long CMO Bootcamp (which I'd like to get an additional logo for later that will tie into this one)We are CMOCoaches.com.
