Mid-century "Japandi" style logo/brand for entrepreneurial start-up

O'Brien Diaz Wealth Architects, LLC serves as a platform investment vehicle, with one multi-unit franchise/company executed to date, Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change, in the greater Houston area. It's owned/operated by a husband/wife combo of former Peace Corps volunteers (Dominican Republic). The goal is to pivot away from 20+ years of Corporate America (Chief Human Resource Officer), flawlessly execute and operationalize smaller multi-unit and multi-branded companies, and ultimately channel a % of profits back to the Dominican Republic via an O'Brien Diaz Family Foundation to support women entrepreneurs on the island of Hispaniola (DR & Haiti).

My wife and I live for adventure, exploration, and knowledge and have always been willing to venture into the unknown for the sake of discovery. Personally, my creative & independent development as a child (former Architect who fell into HR), deep immersion into strikingly different physical and cultural differences in the Peace Corps, and combination of experiential on-the-job learning, coaching & mentoring, and formal global MBA education while working in global human resources have shaped me into the authentic, passionate, rugged and reflective professional adventurer I am today. Just like joining the Peace Corps and living around the world when I was in my early 20s... professionally I strive to “Go Where There Be Dragons.” Dragons were once drawn on ancient maps to symbolize the unknown…to travel beyond the familiar world was to go “where there be dragons”. This is what O'Brien Diaz Wealth Architects means to Andrea and I... it's a major and wonderful pivot back to what we are good at - creating an environment in which people find fulfillment and prosperity. Note on images below - I clearly don't want to copy Galderma's logo...but I love the mid-century fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design (Japandi Style). Would like the design to be our own...perhaps more of a Black/Gray/White (perhaps come Blue) color scheme vs. Galderma's beige; however, clear/clean lines, contemporary/premium brand image desired.
