Create a Cool Clock Icon?

We develop apps and extensions for the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore).

Hi! Can you make a new icon for our Chrome Web Store app? The icon should convey the idea "Digital Clock" as unambiguously as possible to users across the world. The default color for the clock app is green, so a green theme for the icon is probably a good idea. Our current icon and some screenshots from the app are attached. You can start from our current icon if you want, or try a completely new idea. I think the icon could benefit from having a lot more color: the flat black doesn't do much to attract attention. The style and theme of the icon (bubbly or straight edges, etc) doesn't matter very much so long as it is original and quickly recognizable as a clock. You can be creative here but mind the general tips for Chrome Web Store icons listed at the bottom. A vector format is required (we prefer inkscape-compatible SVG, PDF, or EPS). If you want to provide a different vector format, please provide a hi-res transparent PNG render of the vectors (in case we can't open your vector file with inkscape). Target display size: roughly 100x100px This icon may considered a trademark by applicable law which means your design must be original work. There should be no text in the icon (it has a multilingual audience). Numbers are ok. The icon will usually be on a white background, so design for that. Ideally it should look good on dark or colored backgrounds, too (adding a transparent white outer glow which would be hidden on a white background is one easy way which has worked well for me, but certainly not required). Generic Chrome Web Store Icon Tips (from http://goo.gl/OeKN1): - Use SATURATED colors if possible; they tend to work well. - AVOID using a lot of white and light gray. - Make sure the EDGES ARE WELL-DEFINED. - AVOID large drop shadows. It's OK to use small shadows for contrast. - Make the icon FACE THE VIEWER, rather than having built-in perspective. - If the icon is square with rounded corners, use a 12-pixel corner radius.
