Based in Castleconnell, County Limerick, I work in watercolours, monochrome and pastel, landscapes, figurative, still life and portraiture I like the variety of different mediums and the challenge of experimentation.

In recent years I have been working with a new and very exciting oil technique which I call CreArtigan. This is a method where I build up many transparent layers of colour introducing action, movement, light and shade through the removal of paint rather than the application. This approach has a spontaneity which I find very exciting and which I can only equate to the delights of the multitude of “happy accidents” that occur in watercolours.

Over the past 40 years I have exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally. I am now venturing into the On-Line world and need a dynamic and vibrant Web Gallery to exhibit and sell my paintings to an International Audience.

I have exhibited successfully via conventional Art Gallerys for several years and would now like to make my work available to an audience that cannot view my work in person.

I also hope to facilitate regular customers that are repeat buyers of my Art, that they could be notified of new works as they become available and given the opportunity to puchase the works on-line prior to release via traditional art galleries.

We are looking to create a smart Wordpress theme Art Gallery to sell paintings and Fine Art. The site will be full of unique and origional high quality works that will be regurarly updated on a weekly basis.

The site will also sell other products such as prints and notlets of the origional works for customers with all types of budgets.

I am looking for a sharp site with a smart feel that is business orientated towards the sale of paintings. The site must be easily updated and modified by a non technical person.

The design must be a layered PSD file.

I want to incorporate a Twitter link and also a Blog section and have a facility to accept On-Line payments.

However, this is an Artist Website and should be unique and creative and avoid raw and brash colouring.

Elegance and Simplicity is vital.
