Dig Deep helps you unleash your potential. We are building an app that pushes you to accomplish your goals, face your fears, embrace discomfort, and get hard. We'll ask people to face tough truths about their own life — their weaknesses, and the fears holding them back. We're using writing challenges, physical challenges, and social accountability to help you define your ideal future and get the kick in the butt you need to accomplish greatness. We're aimed more towards men. We want our brand to feel like a stern but loving dad, one who is no-bullshit, is able to invoke just a bit of fear and a lot of respect, but who you know loves you deeply and has your best interest at heart. The name is a reference to the idea of digging deep inside yourself when things are hard, to find that extra drive you need to get it done. It's also about self-reflection, digging deep into your past to articulate your current struggles. We don't need that to be interpreted too literally (e.g. a shovel as the logo), although we are open to seeing concepts exploring that, as well as more outside-the-box ideas too!

The takeaway from the moodboard is: Dark, with white masculine typography, masculine art, and intense and beautiful bursts of red-hued colors. We want the brand to invoke a sense of something powerful, primal and eternal. We don't want the logo to be: * no soldiers or human heads * no animal (e.g. no cats, bears or birds). * no wings * no water or ocean * no swords or blades Imagery we are very open to for the icon is anything that invokes reaching your goals and accomplishing your potential. Possibilities include: * An abstract symbol that you think invokes the idea of reaching your human potential * A flame, or abstract use of fire, to invoke your inner drive and passion * A mountain peak — a big goal, a dream, something challenging and important * A volcano or flowing lava We want a logo that looks great as an app logo on your phone, and that would look great much larger on a poster, website, billboard etc. Really looking forward to seeing your amazing designs and working with you!
