Whimsically Clean: Thousand Words Press Needs a Logo and Biz Card

Thousand Words Press is the publishing company I founded to produce my children's book, Nowhere Hair (it explains an adult's cancer and hair loss from chemo to kids). Yes, a heavy topic, but the work is honest and real yet whimsical and has a rad looking bald woman. Kind of sums me up, I guess. Thousand Words Press was a play on my original tagline/mantra for my copywriting company, which was "A picture may be worth a thousand words, but it takes words to say that." I need a logo and biz card that broadens TWP from a publishing company to fold in my copywriting business. I'm a hired gun for graphic design firms who need a creative writer, and I also pitch my services directly to companies looking for communications help.

I've been a copywriter of marketing materials/websites/annual reports/ads for 20 years, and want to convey a solid, creative, slightly whimsical attitude. People who hire me a second time say that they know the work will be done, on time, on budget, and done well, and that we'll have a good time as we do it. I smile a lot. I like to laugh, too. I mean, it's marketing. We're not curing cancer. Of which I know something, since I had it at 33, and I understand that life is short and should be enjoyed. That doesn't mean it must be masculine. Drama works well when it is honestly done, but just because my name is Thousand Words doesn't mean I want a literal translation of this concept. And please, no pens or keyboards or typewriters. I'm a writer, but more than that, I am a communicator. I try real hard to stir something inside of people when they read my work.
