Shelf Road (product name for logo design is MONA)
We are a startup company that has developed a new consumer product for young women who are sexually active. The product is a travel-sized “kit” that contains condoms, a mini tube of lubricant, compact moist towelettes and breath mints. It is packaged in a small recyclable zippered bag with fun graphics (similar to a cosmetic case) that can be easily carried in a handbag. The product is designed to give women a convenient and fun way to never be without the necessities for safe spontaneous sexual encounters.
We are looking for a stylish logo for our new product called the Mona. Mona stands for “My Overnight Accessories.” Mona is also the girlfriend (wing woman) that goes out with you on a Saturday night or is your backup on a weekend camping trip. She’s the answer to the question, “Did you remember to bring Mona with you?”
The logo could be all capital letters (MONA) or initial caps (Mona) and with periods (M.O.N.A.) or without. We would like the designer to interpret the best format for the logo which will then drive how we convey the name. The logo should appeal to our core target audience and be memorable but not overtly sexual. Even though the kit is sexual in nature, the logo should be classy and not corny or crude.
