The current logo has some nice features. It uses the Delt Blue Color and summarizes some of our work areas:
C looks like a pacman representing the GAME TECHNOLOGY work
the G is a visualization of a rotation operation representing the work on GEOMETRY, but also VISUALIZATION (as the arrow is an effective icon to illustrate the operation).
The flame is a reference to the TU Logo, and creates a gradient on the left branch of the V, which makes it look a bit lit, representing our work on RENDERING.
Finally, if the logo, when converted to black and white, the arrow of the G and the V merge and appear to be a sqareroot, which illustrates the link to MATHEMATICS.
If the logo was visually more pleasing, it might already be quite convincing.
Due to a recent change in the group, medical visualization should not be referred to directly, but rather, visualization techniques in general, as is done in this example.
