Magazine Club is a part of the Magazero brand. Magazero imports and retails 'probably the best magazines in the world'. It is a cool, funky zeitgeisty brand that is designed to appeal to smart people from any walks of life, but people who have an interest in exciting publications.
The Magazine Club is a subscription service that brings a curated magazine selection to your door every month along with special offers, invites, freebies and other print related schwag. Magazine Club is international and ambitious, unique and trustworthy.

The target audience are people with a lust for knowledge who are prepared to spend to bring well designed creativity into their lives. This audience is looking to be reassured that the product, the brand, is aligned with how they see the world. The brand is unique and of the moment.
We do not have a specifically young audience, our audience are people who may be somewhat bored with the web and the internet and who are prepared to spend to find alternative sources of published pleasure.
The idea of the Magazine Club is of membership, of belonging, of taking part in something that is important to the users.
Simplicity is the watchword here. The logo needs to be immediately recognisable. It will be used from the web to rubber stamps to stickers to vehicle sides to printed material. No fancy colours, KISS.
The name Magazine Club is essential and central. I would like a design that allows us to add the website address and a slogan:
The best magazines in the world"
but also to use the core logo without these for simplicity.
I imagine a circular logo, but of course that is for the designer to work out.
The brand is a sub-brand of Magazero at http://magazero.net
The logo at Magazero is also about to be redone, but the attitude of the site is important.
Don't think I want magazine representations of any kind.
