The founders, while very competent in their own expertise areas, lack the skills, experience, or time necessary to operate and cultivate a healthy, vibrant services firm. Free Your Mind (FYM) enables professional service companies to return focus to customers, improve profitability, and enable healthy growth.
FYM provides administrative services, sales and marketing assistance, engagement risk management, and strategic coaching to small and mid-size professional services companies. Through FYM's coordinated network of service providers, deep and proven expertise in professional services and sales management, and scalable operating model, it is able to provide these services more effectively and economically than its clients could on their own. FYM clients are able to maintain the stringent client service delivery standards inherent to small and midsize service organizations while taking advantage of strategic and back office capabilities equal to or exceeding those of their largest competitors.
FYM will target professional services organizations having the following characteristics:
- Information technology professional services providers
- Privately owned
- Employ between 10 and 100 professionals
- Have medium to high tolerance for risk
- Are owned and managed by technicians or people highly comfortable with technology
- Are owned and managed by people who tend to be between 25 and 40 years old
Companies of this description are highly likely to be operated by managers who personally handle the bulk of the administrative functions while also providing service to clients. These companies rarely employ dedicated marketing, advertising, or sales functions, and frequently possess little business management expertise beyond whatever may be related to the services they provide to their customers.
FYM does what we do well, enabling our customers to do what they do well.
We need a logo for use in website design, initial business plan and marketing materials, advertising, and branding.
The logo must reflect simplicity and suggest an easier work life for FYM's clients. It must exude confidence, competence, and understanding of the professional services industry in order to win the trust and loyalty of our target market. At the same time, it should not be stodgy and demonstrate an awareness of the evolving 21st century business model.
Symbols are OK, a logo using only letters would also be OK, as long as the presentation of the letters is memorable.
What I Do Not Want:
- Humor or Irony (sorry)
- Very many colors (as many as 4 OK; I can be proven wrong about this if you are confident)
