TalentCorp, our soon to be formed holding company will focus on the recruitment and staffing of specialized marketing professionals for our VentureWeb and TalentSmith client base (www.ventureweb.com / http://www.talentsmith.com). Concentrated in the global marketing services niche, with a presence in South Africa, Canada, US and soon India, the group will service clients internationally, using macro-economic currency arbitrage opportunities to find and deploy finest talent at competitive pricing. We will focus on marketing skills in each region and will look to assist in managing organizational staffing of corporates through the placement of permanent, contract and temp resources, as required.
We would like to challenge you to conceptualize a very corporate, yet iconic logo and stellar typographic layout for our TalentCorp brand. The winning design will be selected on their originality and how the design truly reflects a professional, global operations organization.

FUEL YOUR CREATIVITY: New logo needed for an innovative global marketing staffing organization.
We would like to challenge you to conceptualize a very corporate, yet iconic logo with stellar typographic layout and powerful icon for our TalentCorp brand. The goal is to achieve a healthy balance of creativity that will also be easily understood by our clientele. The must be a clear message behind the icon choice, and the font must be bold and easy to read.
Please find attached a first draft we had at the logo design – we do like the typography, but feel the icon is somewhat fluffy with little meaning? (TalentCorp_V1)

Please ask yourself the following questions to ask while designing:
• What does the company name mean to you?
• Will the final logo represent the company name as a single entity?
• Will the logo and the name work well together?
• Does the logo capture the essence, emotion, and attitude
of the company name?
Bold, warm and earth colors are encouraged – please avoid pastels and bright colors. The logo must work in gray scale. Original and timeless. Clean, clear and simple.
