Casa Makasi is a brand new luxury ocean view villa in the surf town of Mal Pais in Costa Rica. It sits in the hills overlooking the Pacific ocean. Target audience are young couples or families or group of friends wishing to share a vacation home. High end finishings and beautifully decorated... Rental price is quite high so targeting a well-off audience. The main attractions of the area are beautiful beaches, stunning views, great surf, good dining and parties, amazing nature for fun, adventure and relaxing time so the area targets a wide range of people of all ages (mainly 20-50) and diverse nationalities.

The name of the house (Casa Makasi) is the main element and has to stand out. I feel like the location could also be on the logo in smaller font, but it's not a must, i'll let you determine that. (Mal Pais, Costa RIca) I am looking for a logo that is relatively simple. Preference for Emblem logo Elegant & blissful are the main words! This house provides the comfort of north american home but in the midst of natural beauty... the jungle, tropical landscapes and ocean views. I would like the logo to have that same feeling! Class & luxury but with a dream vacation in a tropical paradise feel to it. Something beachy but without being tacky. I've included some photos of the house, it's not quite finished yet but you can get an idea. When people visit Costa Rica they feel relaxed, happy, close to nature etc. Most opular things in the area are waves & surf - beautiful beaches - stunning sunsets - the jungle & nature -adventure tours - waterfalls - etc. etc. I (owner and concierge of the house) particularly like Frangipani flowers, ginger flowers, surf & waves, sunsets, flying pelicans, and sand dollars (see attached pictures) those could be options for a pictoral element. The name of the house "Makasi" is an african word that means strong. I'm just mentionning this in case you're wondering but it doesn't have to have anything to do with the logo! I chose it for personal reasons and because it sounded good in spanish and had a jungly feel to it.
