Ace Paradigm is a concept I have developed that I believe is the underlying frame-work or formula (hence 'paradigm') to all human change & life in general. ACE is an acronym that stands for the three core elements of all personal change, for better or worse.
A stands for “Actions;” the nature and intensity of our actions will have a critical affect on our outcomes. Repeated actions become habits & behaviors; which in turn guides much of our beliefs & identity.
C stands for “Connections;” this is roughly in the sense of psychological associations & disassociations. Eg; When we are working efficiently at a task we can become absorbed into it (connected), or in so called “flow” state, we are less connected to our thoughts and bodies except as they relate to the task at hand. If we instead “tune in” (connect) to our doubts, fears, or earlier times where we have failed – we will disconnect from & therefore inhibit our productive state / productivity.
And finally E stands for “Expectations;” As Henry Ford said “Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right.”
These three elements twist and merge together; one creating the other, or, perhaps they can be thought of as each containing the other, like a fractal.
Eg: …. you expect to be successful...
You will connect to past feelings & memories of being successful (consciously & unconsciously)
You will act in a way more likely to create a successful outcome.
You will create more & stronger connections & expectations (beliefs) about yourself & your capabilities....
