Design for a horse logo our customers can't help but show off!

We sell easy to use barn management and customer connection/notification software to competitive equestrian businesses who are looking to become more technology savvy and deliver a premium experience to their high-end customers. Customer users include teenagers (often females) who are the horse riders and their parents who are often the owners. The horses are seen as both pets and athletes who compete together with their riders in sometimes Olympic-level events.

We'd like the new logo to include the likeness of a horse, probably focused on the head (instead of the entire body). This is an offshoot of our current business "Pingum" we'd like the logos to feel related, especially the geometric style, however we DO NOT want the new logo to be primarily blue. I've uploaded the current/old Pingum owl logo as well as a new color palate and a few images we've found that we like the essence of for your inspiration in the new design for Questri.
