Design needed to unite the worlds of one-to-one and online guitar lessons, to appeal to all ages.

This business is the first (so far as I know) to blend local face-to-face guitar lessons with pre-recorded online tuition. So it needs a logo that will do this individuality justice. The business is called Guitar to Life, check out our website (currently under some bit of construction, but it's live): https://guitartolife.co.uk The business serves 50% kids, 20% professional adults, and 30% retired folks. 80% of student are male. Please bear in mind that isn't necessary to accompany the word "guitar" with an image of one. Every guitar tuition service has an image of a guitar. I am starting to think I want something unusual, something outside the box. Although I've just seen a design that does have an image of a guitar to accompany the word, which I think is pretty good, so feel free to disregard this suggestion if you have a prime idea. But you could give yourself licence to explore other imagery, for instance I like the idea of a partially opened door with light shining through to symbolise the discovery of a new world (of music). Or, perhaps a scene of a magic carpet ride, except it's a guitar that has magically come to life to transport its passenger to the great beyond. I visualise these images in my mind's eye portrayed in a simple but eye-catching hand-drawn, warm, cartoonish, aesthetic; possibly in a nostalgic, vintage style akin to the illustrations in old children's books. But I am open to other styles. Here's the website spiel to give you an idea of what we do: We specialise in complimentarity. We provide face-to-face guitar lessons, supplemented by high-quality online material that corresponds to every lesson taught. Our system is designed to ensure that students: never miss a step; never leave a lesson unsure of what to do; and never lose sight of their progress. We've made it simple to get started, but provide a great deal of optionality for you to create a learning program that suits your preferences and lifestyle. Our ultimate goal is to provide the most effective guitar tuition there is, which includes the opportunity to play with people and for people. Hence our name - Guitar to Life. We still have a lot of work ahead, but we are absolutely convinced we're aiming at the right target.

I felt a bit restricted in colours, I was limited to three. I would have chosen the dark neutrals as a fourth. But I don't have strong opinions about colour schemes particularly, so original colour ideas are welcome. My clientele is really age-diverse: 50% of students are kids from 6-16. 20% are professional working adults. And the remaining 30% are retired types who have the time and money to invest in sharpening their brains while learning to play the music of their youth. About 80% are male though, that's just the way it seems to go with guitar. The thing I love most about what I do is opening the door for people to the enormous world of music, where before they could only see small beams of light passing through the cracks.
