DIY LED company is looking for a new logo!

Rapid LED is the leading online retailer of DIY LED kits and accessories for fish aquariums. We're working hard to save people money by cutting down on their electricity bills while also helping to save the environment by using less electricity and keeping replacement bulbs out of landfills.

Saltwater reef enthusiasts, predominately male with a wide age range (13-60). Some of our customers have a good deal of discretionary money to spend and have very large tanks, while others buy from us in order to save themselves money and hence are on a budget.

The logo will be used on our website (http://www.rapidled.com) and also on our new products (most likely through laser etching). We will be attending trade shows beginning this fall and the logo will be displayed prominently (shirts, bags, stationary, etc).

As we deal with LEDs, corals, and the saltwater fish industry in general, feel free to (though it's not a requirement by any means) incorporate water, fish, corals, fish tanks, LEDs, light, etc into the design however please don't make it too "cartoony". We are in a very innovative space where each lighting unit can be quite expensive so people are expecting a very high quality product, and the logo should reflect the quality that they will be receiving.

Please feel free to be creative with color schemes and fonts.

We will be immediately looking for a banner ad to follow the logo design. As an incentive, the winner of this contest will also be hired to design a web banner ad which we will use to advertise on 3-4 different sites (assuming you're capable and willing to do this and we can come to an agreement on a fair market rate). Finally, we will need an overhaul of our website to be completed by the fall and we will always give artists that we have worked with previously the first opportunity to work with us.

We will require the master .ai file from the winner when the contest is over.
