Logo for Energy Balancing About Energy Balancing (EB) Energy Balancing is a self-help method that works with the human aura to bring balance and center. EB uses the hands on the field directly, as well as the ability to alter the field through awareness. EB is being launched in conjunction with a new book, “Your Energy In Action”, subtitle - Energy Balancing for Daily Living, An Introduction to the Incredible World of Energy. This title is a good indication of the content of EB – it’s dynamic, practical, engaging, daily and realistic. It has to do with how our energy is operating within our selves and in relationship to the outside world. EB is particularly about relating. It explains much of what we call “chemistry” or “vibes”, providing an x-ray insight into the forces of energies that flow in us and between people. EB is three things: an understanding about energy, a learning to perceive energy and a powerful and direct set of practical skills. These life skills are designed to be used at work, in relationship and in action. Though EB is also an advanced therapeutic tool and the EB Institute offers certification for therapists and trainers, the main thrust of EB is to the wide public, and to put into people’s hands tools they can use in daily life situations. Brand architecture: EB is part of the bigger umbrella brand “Science of Human Potential” (without logo) and ‘sister’ brand of Essence Training (see www.essencetraining.com – text logo only). It’s open for discussion whether there could/should be similarities between EB and ET logos or EB standing individually on its own. There could be similarities in the font of both logos. However, we are not fixed on that and will possibly be changing the current Essence Training logo. So for the designers creating this new EB logo, anything goes! Some other notes from our discussions: Benefits: What EB does: - opening eyes for and perceiving and understanding the energy world - giving hands-on tools to move someone’s own or others energy - moving energy changes all other layers (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) – meaning it changes feelings, thinking, physical posture to the positive, and enables spiritual access, - therefore EB is transforming USP: practical energy tools for daily living for self-help, healing and growing that offer a spiritual path. (‘hands-on’ could be included, however, it also works by intention) Logo usage: - Print material: books, handouts, posters, CD / DVD covers, … - Online material: website, newsletter header, pdf downloads, e-books, apps, … Worldwide reach: EB has been taught in Germany and will be reaching other countries in the world in the coming years (e.g. USA, Brazil, Argentina/Chile/Mexico, Spain, possibly UK/Australia/South Africa and more coming). Target Group: rather female (70%) than male (30%) all ages, but most in 30-50 area (generation x) Sociological milieus & psychological types: from German Sinus-Milieus (see http://www.sinus-institut.de/en/ ): Immediately speaking to the higher re-orientation groups - ‘movers & shakers’ and ‘high achievers’ - but also reaching the middle ‘modernization & individualisation’ groups: ‘liberal intellectual milieu’, ‘socio-ecological milieu’ and ‘adaptive pragmatics’. Ideas we’ve had for the Logo: Please do NOT let these ideas direct you. Though we have ideas, we know that they may be limiting. We are using the Logo bidding process to get many new ideas!! 1. Idea: of a person, like a dancer or perhaps more like a diver off a high diving board, with their arms stretched above their head, arched back, seen from the side, giving the sense of balance, poise, and dynamism. Can even be in the moment of launching upwards from the diving board with one leg bent, the other straight. Sample of Energy Balancing from the book. This link is to a sample chapter of the book. This section is about “Clearing” the human energy field. It is one of 17 chapters so is in no way representative of other materials. However, the pictures in this chapter are indicative of the types of images we are using and the general work of EB. www.essencetraining.com/downloads/eb.pdf Wanted: Image logo (not only text logo) Visual Info: The logo should represent 1) Balance & Center 2) Energy & Energy world 3) Dynamic living Especially “DYNAMIC CENTER” as outcome of EB is an interesting part of the teaching. While EB is “BALANCING” it’s not static, but in motion, even ‘dancing’ (therefore no normal ‘aura picture’ please) Energy = moving = motion (from physical postures to aura to energy coming out form a chakra) energy = movement with direction, being a vortex. We like something of a ‘person’ (though not a photo), it could be a silhouette or abstract. EB balances all aspects of life Logo could/should represent more the outcome of EB than the ‘hands-on process’ of doing it. Outcome: a balanced and centered yet dynamic and potent living Ultimately one is connected to one’s Higher Self / Golden Being and the Greater One – this spiritual aspect of EB shouldn’t be focus of the visual representation, but would be nice if the logo has this connotation. Additional brand features: - Naturalness - Authenticity - Expansion - Flow - contained but not boxed in, not limiting the flow - yin-yang principle (without wanting a yin-yang symbol) - Power(ful) (potent but not loud!) Color code: no colors defined yet should work as black & white logo (color needs a certain saturation) when discussing colors we were considering green and purple or red (yellow discussed but will be too light for b/w print) Text Font: tbd, there could be similarities with ET logo (see www.essencetraining.com)
