Our Brand and Business
School Readathon is a digital platform that provides a turnkey solution for a school or organization that hosts a fundraiser focused on reading.
The primary users will be elementary school parents; the primary target audience is PTA volunteer leadership at schools across the United States.
Design Values and Stylistic Preferences
We want to communicate a sense of fun, boldness and excitement. The logo image should be modern and streamlined for a 21st century business. We do not want the design to feel young, too cute or babyish.
We would like the logo to include a design icon as well as the words. The design icon can infer or refer to books and reading, but does not need to. We do not necessarily want the design icon to focus on school buildings or iconic school images. We would prefer no cute animals as icons. We want sophisticated, bold, accessible and inviting.
We definitely want this to be bold and colorful, but we want to leave the specific color choices open to the designers. However, please note that we do not want pastels or colors that make the site feel babyish or young.
