MediaHornet is a subsidiary of a highly successful financial services firm with over $25mm in annual revenue. This company will essentially be the in-house advertising agency for all of the parent firms projects. Most advertising will be done online via paid search, affiliates, email, banner, contextual and other online media. Many different upsells and promotions will be offered via this agency.

We are particularly interested in new media and methods for doing business online from social media to Groupon style coupon sites. The logo should convey modern thinking but also make the consumer feel they have arrived at a very well capitalized and successful company. Some good exampes of logos include: Groupon.com, EBATES.com, and BlueHornet.com. Designs with a graphic of a hornet in them like seen on BlueHornet.com would be interesting to see but not required. Logo should be inviting and modern and not scary with the hornet image if designer chooses to incorporate one. Web 2.0 style logos are also a plus. Groupon is also a clean, simple, modern design to pull ideas from. Logo should appeal to men and women of all ages and locations (US Market), and all socioeconomic groups regardless of education.
