Hot or What
We're launching a Web 2.0 ratings site this Spring to enable users and experts to rate anything (people, places, things) through our web and smart phone interface. The site is centered around rating items as "hot" or skipping them (no negative ratings).
The site's secondary focus is bringing people together for events and will include other social networking aspects popular with sites today.
Young, web- and tech-savvy individuals, ages 15-55, non-gender specific, in urban areas. The site will initially launch in metropolitan areas -- New York metropolitan area to start -- and will spread out to more suburban and rural areas throughout 2010.
The logo should feel modern, urban, young, fresh and energetic. It should imply the social aspects of rating people, places, things and be attractive to our target audience.
Logo must be printable in RGB, CMYK and Black and White, so we require variations with each submission to show how it will look on different media.
We like the idea of focusing on visual imagery of products being "hot" (flames, fire, etc.) but request your creativity to make the logo the most original and memorable for attracting and retaining users.
