I am creating a blog (and eventual innovation franchise) that allows me to give voice to my insights and observations around brand innovation and trends in order to realize my dream of becoming the “Rachel Ray of branding” (E.g. create a media franchise that presents innovation strategy, trends, and commercial ideas a refreshing, high energy, accessible way).
I like the idea of "twist" because it represents many things that embody my approach to innovation.

I believe that if you stay on predictable paths you will always get predictable solutions.
I am a high energy person/presenter so I think of citrus/vitamin b and a shot of adrenaline that most companies need.

I also like the optimism and upbeat nature of citrus- who can resist a delicious glass of OJ?
I like to also bring an intuitive and "feminine" approach to branding so I would like something clean, feminine (without being precious/girly) and fresh.
Logo will be used on: website, blog page, business cards, presentations etc.
I like clean, subtle type, perhaps grey and maybe lower case.
I would like to see company name locked up with the logo and also how the symbol could be used as a secondary design language.
- 3 or 4 color logo
- Type treatment of Brand Twist name
- Both of these items in a lock up together
- suggestions for secondary design language that incorporate elements of the logo
- Anything too literaly fruity- bushel of orange
- Too bright an orange
- Item 1...
