The Inspired Entrepreneur brand is about helping aspiring business owners to discover their vocation, and to turn that vocation into a profitable company. Our belief is that millions of people are awakening to their own power and potential, and they're demanding that their work be creatively fulfilling and infused with meaning...
... being an Inspired Entrepreneur is about being true to yourself - and allowing your business to be the vehicle through which you explore your potential. We believe that there's no point owning a business unless it enables you to expand your horizons, express your passions, and build a lifestyle of freedom, individuality and contribution.
We offer workshops, seminars, coaching, information products and community events to a mainly UK audience, and people come to us for -
+ Inspiration: ideas and motivation.
+ Information: hands-on practical skills and strategies.
+ Support: encouragement and a kind word.
… but, more than anything, we're aiming to grow to become a real community, where business owners can come together and help each other along on the journey.
The major values we promote through our business are:
You can find our current website here -
Our brand tends to appeal slightly more to women then men, and to the slightly older (35+) demographic.
… we're aiming at inspired, creative and autonomous individuals who want to start / grow their own small business. For example, we tend to attract a lot of coaches, authors, speakers and artists. Many of our customers would probably self identify as spiritual people.
We'd like a new logo, and we're quite open minded about how it might look, but here are a few thoughts -
+ We don't want to appear corporate and stuffy – we'd love the logo to ooze friendliness and approachability.
+ Our business is quite inspirational, but we're in no way religious, so we don't want anything that looks too flaky.
+ We're open to the logo having a (simple & classy) icon.
+ Logo doesn't necessarily need to use the color palette of our existing site – we'll redesign around your logo.
+ Simple, clear, classy and clean is good – not fussy.
+ We'd like the logo delivered as a Photoshop file.
+ Our new strap-line is “Your Calling. Your Tribe. Your Business” - but we're not sure if this will fit well within the logo itself, we'll leave it up to you.
+ Thinking about logos we like, we love the web 2.0 feel -
... esp. Linked In / Bebo / Facebook / Flikr / Technoati / Last.fm / Envato / Vimeo / Twitter... Iconic is good.
(strong colors can be cool, but please show us a mix)
Can you create a logo for us that conveys some of the above?
We're really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
