We are launching a professional, uniformed junk removal service in an area where there currently is not a national franchise so we want to grab the market before they show up. We anticipate we will also be franchising ourselves into the smaller markets like the one we serve now so we need something that can be used across print, web, and on our trailers and trucks.

We are looking for a logo that can be used as our brand in print and on the web and on our small 6 X 12 trailers (which will be wrapped - see doozywraps.com), while at the same time offering elements that can be parsed out to be put on large trash type trucks. For examples of exsiting national brands and the type of trucks we will be using see 1800GOTJUNK.COM or 1800JUNKUSA.COM. Our original idea, based on our name selection, is to do something with a stencil font and perhaps a drill seargant or something with a fun military feel. However, because of current equipment colors(and the fact we want to stand out instead of blending in) we need to use reds, blacks and greys instead of the normal military greens, browns and beiges. Your initial logo design will be incorporated into a wrap design for our trailers which could possibly include some red, black and grey camo design as the background (see powersportswraps.com) so please keep that in mind as you create your design. Regading the target market we see it as three fold: 1. Corporate customers like apartment managers, constructions site managers, and foreclosure property managers; 2. Our ageing popluation (the baby boomers are just starting to retire) and 3. The well-to-do who don't really want to get their hands dirty. You take it from there. Item 3...Something fun and memorable that matches our demographic.
Item 4...Must give the feel of a franchisable brand
Item 5...Must look good in both greyscale and full color so it maintains it's look on our black and white forms.
Item 6...Something that will transfer to our trucks - think big letters or a logo that will look good in super size and catch people's attention from far away. (PS. We might possibly use red, black and grey camo on the cabs of our trucks to make them stand out. The metal truck beds will probably be black)
