Come LocalUp ha cominciato il suo viaggio per il design di logo
Hi - My name is Chris Jeffery and I'm the CEO of LocalUp Solutions. We are a spin off of my original company called YNot Advertising, where we launched several local search engines that enable local restaurant search and ordering. LocalUp Solutions is taking the software we have built and licensing it out on large scale to entreprenuers and media companies in all types of communities. We provide a CMS and an online ordering platform today, but are looking to expand upon that offering with new features and functionality. We enable local search and we are looking for a simple, but very professional logo and icon we can use as our corporate identity. LocalUp is a small, cutting edge and the logo needs to portray this as well.

Local Entrepreneurs + Media Companies
We target individuals who want to launch a localized restaurant portal and ordering platform (ie BtownMenus.com). We also target media companies to either replace their existing dining guide platform or launch a new dining guide. Radio stations or conglomerates and newspaper companies or conglomerates are also a target market for us (ie targeting letseatpa.com and replacing what they have with our software). We provide both target audiences with the platform and technology as well as the marketing, sales and business operations training to be successful with the software and business model.
Our existing sites have targeted collegiate markets exclusively, but we are now starting to target non-collegiate markets, such as Hoboken, NJ. So if you look at Ynotadvertising.com, you will see that our sites are focused in collegiate markets, but we have had many leads outside of the collegiate market.
We are simply looking for a great logo and icon or symbol for our company. I really like Joomla! and how simple, but yet sophisticated their image is. Colors are not that important to me, but I would stay away from Red an Green.
Originally I was thinking about incorporating an up arrow, but that seems too cliche. I would like to have the "solutions" word be in all caps, but a smaller font. I really do like the bing font, but it does not have to be the exact same. It's clean and professional.
