I would like to use the logo for a new website I am launching under www.drrajka.com (my first name) The website will be a wellness site that is highly personalized and relying on the principles of functional medicine. Initially the website will be informative and provide people with access to professional grade supplements. I will then add a virtual component in regard to consults. In my office and virtually, I will treat patients from a functional medicine approach. Functional medicine addresses the underlying causes of disease, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional medicine integrates traditional Western medical practices with what is sometimes considered “alternative” or “integrative” medicine, creating a focus on prevention through nutrition, diet, and exercise; use of the latest laboratory testing and other diagnostic techniques; and prescribed combinations of drugs and/or botanical medicines, supplements, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs, or stress-management techniques. Target audience:Highly motivated individuals and families wanting to live healthy. And those wanting to target the cause of symptoms they are having: fatigue, headaches etc using a functional medicine approach. Note: I am a family physician trained in allopathic medicine as well. Functional Medicine will add the holistic element to my current practice. My niche: To provide my services in a highly personalized fashion using multimedia (blog, web, DVD’s, you tube etc.) in addition to face-to-face consultations. Allowing people to walk away feeling as if they are the only one I am consulting with.

Really would like the logo to exemplify my personal style:classy chic. Think of a modern day Jackie O. A good friend commented on how everything I do is with style. Nothing too girly. The logo will be used across the top of my website: so file type should be appropriate for a website and the size of the logo the width of a webpage. Once I see the initial designs, I would like to guarantee the prize. I utilized 99designs once before and guaranteed the prize as the designers submitted some fabulous choices. Hope to see some excellent designs as I did then! Please note, as I am in a different timezone, I will not comment on designs between the hours of 2pm-11pm EST as I will be offline these hours. But, will try to give feedback daily! I would like to leave the creativity to you all and that is why I have not been very specific in a logo or color. I don't mind whether it is lower case or upper case letters, small pictorial marks or not.
