My client is starting up a health center, mainly based on methods of alternative medicine. The aim is to carefully listen to his patients to be able to improve their general state of health. It´s not really important to be detailed informed about his methods and treatments. The most important thing is, that the improvement of the general state of health is reached by f.e. acupuncture, mental work and coaching and not by prescribing medicines!

The target audience are people with (serious,) chronic complaints or people who just want to change their life to the positive side by doing mental work and who are ready to listen to their body´s complaints and needs.
My client does not have a huge health care center, not yet ;-) , so the focus is on quality! Not on quantity. Fully satisfied patients are the foundations of his work. This philosophy should also be represented by his logo and his CD.
I would prefer a clear typeface (sans serif) with "modern" touch, no complex corners and edges; As my clients has much to do with mental work "waves" and "flowing" shapes could be fine for some kind of symbol or icon.
I have no ideas for the color scheme; therefore try to match the "health" topic ;-)
If possible, my client would like to emphasize the first letters of the company name (IAV). As three-letter-abbreviations are not the great hit, it´s not a must!
