Multicast, an expert in the management and delivery of Internet video, is looking to make a huge splash. We're rebranding our flagship Internet video solution, Vidego. This logo will appear all over the world, in print, online, and on the air. It’s your to chance to flex your creative muscle and strengthen your resume.

Vidego is all about enhancing communication for our customers. The Vidego Internet Video Platform is a collection of five (5) best-of-breed components that can be de-coupled to meet a customer’s or partner’s specific needs or integrate into an existing solution. Vidego enables marketing, human resources, public relations, and other departments to upload video content, build customized media players, and deliver online video through a variety of channels.
- Should embody a video-centric theme or elements, first and foremost it needs to communicate 'video'.
- Think post-Web 2.0. This one is going to be forward-thinking.- Must be unique and recognizable, that includes the text.- Designs that are able to capture the idea of five elements coming together will be given greater consideration.- Keep in mind this logo is for an online video company, so the logo will most likely be animated.
- No elongated designs, logo should fit into a square-ish space.- No CAPS or all lower-case text, text should be written as: Vidego.- No light-weight fonts.- No realist or modernisttypefaces: no Helveticas, no Arials, no Futuras. The font needs to be highly-legible and unique. - If it is going to feature serifs, no classical or traditional serifs. I'd much prefer something post-modernist.
- No film reels (I'd prefer to stay away from the film strips too). Most of our clients don't identify with the film reel symbol since they work with digital video and tapes.
