Streetpark, llc, is a NYC based company about to launch a website that will fundamentally change the way New Yorkers use cars. Our application is in the last stages of development with an anticipated launch date of 11/25. The majority of our users will likely be affluent, 25-49 year old people who live in and around NYC.

We are targeting people who have cars (or people who drive) in and around NYC. Initially we will concentrate on three neighborhoods--Upper West, Park Slope (Bklyn), and a downtown neighborhood. We hope to expand to more of the city by the end of next year, and have plans to launch in other cities as well. We expect most of our users to be fairly web savvy people, many of whom use social networking sites and other internet resources regularly. Many, if not most, will also likely be smart phone users (which our site is designed to take advantage of).
The website address--Streetparknyc.com--should be prominently featured, and the logo should reflect the urban nature of the service (ideally it will not be specific to NYC, although it should work well for a company that at launch will offer its services only in NYC). The service will be exclusively used by people who drive cars in the city, so that should be reflected in the design. There does not necessarily need to be a realistic representation of a car, but a logo that reflects the difficulty of parking in the city and the fact that our service will make this task much easier is desirable. We are offering a completely novel service and the logo might therefore reflect the innovative, original nature of our service.
