OLADA (On Line Auto Dealers Auction)
We are a group of car people that think we have a better way to sell cars online. We have experience working at car dealerships and wholesale auto auctions and love the automotive industry. The world is leaning to online purchases at the retail level and the same movement is occurring in the wholesale auto markets. We plan to provide the best website in the industry with outstanding customer service and very competitive fees...not cheap but not gouging the customers either. We are creating a website of trust where the seller describes his car accurately and the buyer can bid with confidence. If there are discrepancies we will stand behind the car if the seller fails to do so.

Our primary audience, to begin the business, will be the 80,000 wholesale and retail car dealers across the USA. After we have established ourselves we will be marketing to car dealers around the globe. There is a lot of competition out there but we plan to differentiate ourselves with top flight service and by developing relationships with our customers. Car dealers are the most fun people on the planet and once you become friends with them they are loyal to the end!!
We plan on marketing the company by the acronym OLADA. It has no special meaning other than the initials of our name. OLADA should be a part of the logo. If we are successful OLADA is all we will need to say and car dealers will know who we are.
We have not chosen company colors so you can use any color design you feel is appropriate although car dealers seem to respond to bright colors. These colors will most likely be a part of the website design in the future.
Since we are an auto auction there should be something automotive like a car or car parts?? in the logo.
Being an accountant by trade (I can hear the boos from the artists) I love the Coca Cola and IBM logos which are very simple. Our logo should be easily understandable. Fancy is not important. Attractiveness is important.
