Zinepal turns existing web content into printable PDFs and eBooks. It is an easy way to repurpose existing web content to reach additional audiences. It is used by bloggers, businesses and professionals as well as owners of eBooks readers.
For example, some businesses use Zinepal to turn their blogs into traditional paper newsletters that they distribute to their existing clients. Owners of eBook readers use Zinepal to turn their favorite blogs and RSS feeds into custom eBooks. Bloggers are using Zinepal to create custom eBooks from their blogs that they can offer as an additional feature.
The target audience is primarily businesses and professionals that are blogging online but need to reach additional audiences either using printable PDFs via paper distribution or eBooks via digital distribution.
The current Zinepal logo is simply the text "zinepal" spelled out in bold using the Verdana font. I would like to add some graphic/visual elements to go along with the text. The new logo should still include the text, but it can use a different font and the text can be spelled in all upper/lower case or as "Zinepal".
The new logo will be displayed on the zinepal.com website and should fit in with the color scheme. The website uses shades of gray, blue and green, so the logo should use colors that fit in with that color scheme. The logo will also be included in the PDFs that users create using Zinepal, so ideally the logo will also look good when printed in grayscale.
I don't have any specific ideas for the visual element of the logo. Something that conveys the transformation of web content into other mediums, especially the transformation into eBooks would be excellent. The web-to-print aspect is less important to me.
The Zinepal slogan is "Now you are the editor." This may or may not appear in the logo. If you can work it in, then that's cool, but it's definitely not required.
UPDATE: I would like to receive the final design in SVG format so I can resize it as needed. Ideally I would like to be able to open it in a free vector graphics editor like Inkscape.
