The current logo is very swirly/traditional and we want a complete break from the traditional look. Maybe something using the letters (GHS), something abstract or maybe a view up a garden to a door.
The feel of the company is very much a family/small/local solicitors that want to help rather than stuffy old folks streaming legal jargon with barely a word of English.
The core business is personal injury, but they don't want to focus on it (as they also do wills, house puchase/sale, civil suits and employment law) so don't do a logo with an injured person. For the same reason don't focus on the "house" portion of the company name as it can give the impression of the company only doing real estate.
The current working strapline is "Join our family". We're thinking along the lines of small, family, helpful, etc.
Colours that are liked are #7e0100, #637b03, #7e3000 and #1b7707. That's not to say other colours aren't also winners, but those are a few we found from sampling from some photos. We aren't a fan of blue generally (but there may be a nice shade that works well).
