We're called Pinkston Group, which is important. But we also use Pinkston Group Public Relations and PG and PG/PR. We have had the same color scheme for 10 years (as seen on our website at http://www.pinkstongroup.com) But we're not tied to the colors or the look. We're interested in something new and creative. We'll be redesigning the website following the logo project.

We cater to clients from Fortune 500 companies, major publishers and tech companies. We also, by virtue of our field, deal with media/reporters constantly.
We don't really have branding guidelines. The logo needs to allude to PR or Public Relations in some way. And Pinkston Group needs to be in the Logo but you can play off of PG or PG/PR or PG PR in some way as long as Pinkston Group is written out somehow. Color scheme is open although the color "pink" is probably not going to work. It's a fairly masculine brand.
Needs to look professional but since we're in a creative field, we're not afraid of something a bit whimsical or unexpected. Honestly, something a bit edgy is probably what will win. I want to take a bit of a risk with the new look.
