SharpNEAT (personal project site) needs a new logo

SharpNEAT (personal project site)

This is an existing personal web site for a personal project (to do with computer science and artificial intelligence).

I'm looking to replace the logo image at top right. This was originally created by myself using GIMP and although I quite like the gradiated color and pastel(ish) colors I think the design itself looks a bit amateurish.

I quite like the minimal look of the exiting logo, I like the simple flat 2D look with bold lines and minimal visual clutter.

The design should try include a stylised neuron or connected neurons. One idea might be to combine a biological look with something a bit more artificial (e.g. electronic circuit schematic sort of look).

The existing logo has the text 'SharpNEAT' within it and this currently matches the font on the title of the web page. I'm open to having no text in the logo or an alternative font (if I like it I can consider changing the web site to match).

I'm also open to a change in the image shape and dimensions, although I quite like how the existing one sits on the web page across an orange menu 'band'.
