ACAS - the smarter way to certify buildings
ACAS (Annual Certification Administration System) is a newly developed software system that helps owners of buildings and managing agents administer their Annual Fire Safety Statements as required under government regulations in Australia.
The software has been developed by a company called BCA Performance who are accredited Building Surveyors.
ACAS has been developed to remove the risks associated with annual certification and non-compliance for building owners.
By using ACAS, building owners can have complete peace of mind knowing that all of their annual fire safety certification requirements are in order.
ACAS is the only software tool on the market that that ensures annual fire safety certification compliance with relevant legislations and regulations.
As a ‘bonus’, but not the intent of the software, ACAS has the capability of storing all information regarding the building including building approvals, development consents, plans, specifications, reports, certificates. The benefits of this are huge and have the potential to deliver far beyond the initial objective of the software.
The vision for the ACAS brand is to become the recognised ‘stamp of approval’ required at the completion of new buildings.
Please note - we do not want the logo to look like a stamp or anything like a government seal or regulatory body logo.
Our target markets are Senior Managers of Government Departments that are responsible for the management of multiple buildings/properties, Property Owners in Private Sector who own and manage more than one building & Managing Agents
The target market work in an area that is dominated by issues to do with risk, compliance, corporate responsibility, due diligence and so on. Many of the buildings they manage are considered ‘works of art’, they are surrounded by slick, sophisticated yet simple designs – think about the types of designs that would appeal to or at least relate to architects when you are designing the logos

Our primary objective is to build a brand for ACAS.
However to support the initial marketing efforts in launching ACAS, we will need to rely on the credibility of the company that has developed the software - i.e. BCA Performance - go to http://www.bcaperformance.com
BCA Performance does not actively market itself. It relies on referrals and recommendations. As a result there has never been a big investment in the development of a strong corporate identity.
With the launch of ACAS we believe it is now time to invest in the development of a stronger logo for BCA Performance.
The logos do not need to look hte same, but need to reflect the same qualities. We like to think of them as being distant cousins, rather than siblings!
They should both appeal to the same target market, yet have their own identity.
