My private practice, which is here: http://guilfordpsychologicalservices.com is going to be sponsoring a "Shoreline Resilience Series"-- which are talks-- provided by well educated researchers/ speakers-- about trauma and the pandemic-- the talks are both academic and offee strategies to help. I would like the logo to convey strength, freedom from pain, relief, and resilience.
Our area is along the shoreline of CT. Let that inspire you but the location need not be a specific influence on the logo. I could see a lot of imagery working for resilience. We want to communicate a nice, easy going but smart/academic series that will help people emotionally get through this pandemic.
My FAVORITE submissions have a drawn or watercolor look.
The area is artsy— people will appreciate something that looks like art.
It is also lovely if the logo makes some sense with my guilford psychological services website— I am attaching those logos below— we are sponsoring it so if we can show the relationship, great. The target audience is adults, probably 17 and up *that will be motivated to attend based on the academic piece— this is a highly educated town and they like learning things— they will be hooked by the chance to learn about the biological impact of trauma on the brain, what the science says about how this pandemic has impacted our mental health*** We are luring the smart people and then will sneak in some psychological support at the end. I like to imagine that we are giving academic information to help support and build people's resilience-- that is the goal anyway, to support resilience. If there is a way to connect that this speaker series will help people help themselves/help build psychological strength, great.
