Weave Interior Design
Design professionals with great deal of respect for the skill of other designers and looking for a creative solution to re-brand our interior design business. Currently our interior design studio works as an ad on to an existing architectural business and we are looking to seperate and grow this as an independent business. Our background in architecture is important to us, and we want to bring architectural aspects to the interior business - our designers consider more than furniture layouts and colour - spatial relationships, functions and volumes are just as important to the success of an interior space as the furninshings. Our approach to design is a considered layered approach starting with the site as a whole, working through use and relationships of spaces down to the fine structural and furninshing details. All these aspects of what we do weave together to create intriguing internal spaces.
We are looking to target professionals and bespoke markets - business and individuals - high end residential, commerical, retail and hospitality projects.
We require a logo design that reflects our vision for the business - to be an independent, upmarket business with a definable style. That style will be our brand and it’s important that our logo is in line with this. We would describe the style as classic, layered and eclectic. It has a distinctly Australian feel – defined as casual, clean and warm - with a European sophistication – defined as refined lines and good geometry
Ideally the logo will portray a crisp, professional, refined but funky (not fat old dodgy lawyer) identity.
We want the identity to appeal to clients who have a sophisticated and eclectic taste, as well as those with more contemporary tastes.
Use of colour and texture is encouraged but must retain the professional aesthetic desired.
Attention should be paid to the idea of 'weaving' and how this could be worked into the logo.
Typeface must be clear and readable and reproducible as black and white as well as colour. Typeface must be strong and able to standalone.
Easy to produce signs as both positives and negatives.
Please be as creative as you like - outside of what we described above we do not have a specific look in mind and are interested to see your interpretations of our brief.
