Miller's Roast Beef
We are a fast casual sandwich concept. We are going into our 50th year. We sell roast beef, pastrami, turkey, and more (sandwiches) and serve a variety of sides. Our target audience is literally anyone who appreciates good food :) We pride ourself on our diverse customer base - our food appeals to everyone! Our slogan is Family Serving Family!
We are in need our our interior menu board to be re-designed. We are in the process of franchising our brand and will be selling units in 2018. We are slowly - refreshing - our look. We embody freshness, quality, consistency, all food is prepared in house and made to order. Inspiration - think Whole Foods meets Starbucks in terms of brand feel. Since we have been around for 50 years a very subtle nostalgic twist might be interesting (subtle - not heavy on old fashion or nostalgia)?
Including existing takeout menu attached - but use only for items - not for style. We are in the process of re-freshing our look. Roast Beef BLT, clam roll missing from takeout menu
We need to use some visuals in the menu board so people understand our product (especially in new markets)

Also attached to the end of this brief - a digital rendering of the inside of the prototype franchise space - so you can get a feel for interior. It's almost complete.
Panel 1: Roast Beef - a way to better and more creatively communicate roast beef to our customers - sizes, toppings, suggestions.
Panel 2: Other Favorites (Other sandwiches from takeout menu - Pastrami, Pastrami Rueben, Thanksgiving, etc.....)
- Find a way to separate and highlight seafood here and include: fish sandwich, lobster roll, clam roll, and clam strips
Panel 3: Continuing of Other Favorites - maybe include the seafood section here?
Panel 4: Sides
Panel 5: 1/2 for Drinks & Desserts (Pepsi products - take up a little bit of room - then highlight iced teas which are becoming our signature beverage - real fruited iced teas (raspberry, mango pineapple, strawberry melon, sweet tea, unsweetened)
The remaining 1/2 we can swap out graphics for specials items, new items, etc.
Regarding fonts - we are actually open to ideas - we haven’t found one we are in love with yet - so options are great. Remembering the simplicity, natural, classic approach of what we do (sandwiches and fries) for 50 years - remember Whole Foods meets Starbucks for inspiration
