RunVerse needs an awesome homepage design - $500 guaranteed

RunVerse allows runners to search for races in their area.

I am looking for a designer to design RunVerse’s homepage I want the design to be clean, bright and inviting with large text and plenty of white space. I may want to use large-scale stock photos as the background for the page so a few designs with that look would be useful. I laid out colors that I have chosen but feel free to expand outside of that and incorporate other colors. The target audience of RunVerse will be runners of all ages. Most runners are in great shape and live an active lifestyle, I want the site to reflect that. The homepage will need to have: • A search area that users will input their race distance along with their location – A dropdown list that will allow the user to select a race: • 5k, 10k, 15k/10 mile, Half Marathon, Marathon, Other – A text entry box that will allow a user to enter their location in city,state or zip format • Top Navigation needs to include: – Home • Will link back to the home page – Race search • Will link to the race search page. – List race • Will direct to the registration page – Blog • Will redirect to the blog • Bottom Navigation – Blog • Will redirect to the blog – Legal • Legal information page – About • About us page – Contact • Contact information page • Races near you area – Will display a list of races that are featured and near the users location. – Will need to have the name, date and time of the race along with the race’s logo. • Blog entries – Displays a snippet of the latest blog entry with a picture and a link to the full blog – Clicking read on will take the user to the main blog page. Like the design of: - http://www.universitytutor.com/ - This site is similar to what mine will be doing except this searches for tutors and mine will be searching for races. - http://www.giganews.com/ - Like the clean lines, easy to read text and graphics on this site. - http://www.absolutebica.com/ - I really like this designers site as well as most of the work.
