Il brief di design
I am beginning a connection program where high school students (looking to go to college) and college students (looking to go to grad school) can search and find experienced college students and grad students who are already at the place they want to be. After a match is made InsideGrad connects the two for a conversation. The purpose of this 3 sided large (fold out) postcard (5" X 6") [see example given in the attachments entitle MSC brochure] is to act as a teaser as I distribute them to experienced college and grad students with the intention of having them sign up with InsideGrad.com
Qual è la tua visione?
I would like to create a 3 sided large post card 5" X 6"... [see example given in the attachments entitle MSC brochure] Dear Contestants; I am upping the prize money, but I am also adding some work. If you can see the new example I uploaded in the design brief section, I would like more of a creative brochure style piece instead of a simple postcard. The example I have given is a postcard-sized fold out card (folded in such a away as to open up to reveal the two sided card inside). 1. So for instance the front card (the top part which folds out) will just have a my logo ("InsideGrad.com", "Get the Skinny") [note... I gave an example of the cool clean white black font and background I like... see attachment name img_263...). 2. Inside will be the first part of my pitch the the students. cover page (with logo), and description (please use your artistic flare to create caricatures, designs, drawings of students (highschool, college and grad school age on the phone talking with each other) 3. the back part of the 'card' will have my bio (and my passion for the project) again add a them with some stylishness continued throughout the three sides of the card/brochure. I'd like the logo (to be placed on the front side of the card, prior to the fold out) to have this text: "InsideGrad.com" and "Get The Skinny" Though I've provided a preliminary brochure and a web-site landing page, these are by no means final drafts. (note: designs cartoons and pictures are welcome on both sides depending on the artistic creativity of YOU... my designer :) Simply use these samples to get a feel for the project. Thanks everyone for pitching in. cheers - Kushal I would like the front side of the large postcard (after the reader opens up the logo fold out page) to have the following excerpt: "You’re in school. Kids all over are wondering what that’s like… To walk in your shoes, to be where you are, study what you’re studying. Get paid and give’em the skinny. Tell us your story and we’ll match you with a prospective student that's fascinated with the path you're on now. InsideGrad.com One call can make all the difference" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The back side of the large postcard should have a blurb about me along with my picture... saying this: "Hi. I’m Kushal. I’ve gone to a lot of schools. I have an Ivy League degree, a law degree, a science degree, even an MBA. All that learning, oceans of money spent… it took me too long to realize that picking a path, a school, a profession… this stuff can’t be found on a web-site, or a ranking, or some professional prestige metric. Our path must come from deep inside each one of us. Though all our journeys are unique, it’s important to talk to people that are on a path which you are looking to begin. Get their stories. Learn their secrets. Feel their experience. Get the InsideGrad. InsideGrad.com"
Il brief di design
From a stylistic and thematic standpoint - "InsideGrad" implies insider "eyes only" information exchange between a student in the trenches to a prospective student (looking to start that very program). Thus the impression to be given is "LA Confidential" ~ "off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush." ;) cheers thanks. Use simple two thre or maxumum four colors... black, white, grey and perhaps orange. Take a look at these cartoon caricatures... they're a creative way of starting to think about the college and highschoolers involved here. http://www.123rf.com/photo_18933766_colorful-template-for-advertising-brochure-with-cool-cartoon-young-people-teenagers.html http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-114604339/stock-vector-colorful-template-for-advertising-brochure-with-cool-cartoon-young-people-teenagers.html
