espartz necessitava di un nuovo design di design per stampa o packaging e ha lanciato un contest su 99designs.
È stato scelto un vincitore tra 45 design presentati da 26 designer.
http://www.GivesMeHope.com is a website that receives over 1.6 million unique visitors per month. We recently were offered a book deal.
GivesMeHope contains short, inspirational Twitter-length stories submitted by users based on their own experiences. Think Chicken Soup For the Soul, one-paragraph stories. If you know the website Fmylife.com, it's the exact opposite. The stories are so uplifting it's been called "The Other Suicide Hotline".
Primarily women, but we don't want to alienate men. So we'd like a gender neutral look.
NOTE: We ran a previous contest for this cover, but we had to change the title of the book and go for a different look.
Subtitle: The 127 Most Inspiring Bite-Sized Stories
The book will be 6in by 6in, full-color. Each page will comprise of a GivesMeHope story told visually. The winning bidder will be given credit in the book, and allowed to use in bidder's portfolio. My previous book was a New York Times bestseller so we're expecting this book to sell very well.

Important: the cover needs to be VERY LOUD - the first thing your eye sees if you're scanning a bookshelf. But it needs to convey the visual, full-color photographic nature of the book. So, two words: loud, but beautiful.
Even though the title is "Gives Me Hope", we don't want to feature it TOO prominently. So the ratio between the title and subtitle shouldn't be anything extreme like 80/20.
Feel free to use photos as the design background. We use Bigstockphoto, but we'll buy whatever image is necessary as long as the image is licensed properly.
I will provide guidance and rapid feedback through the process.
