I have a book that will soon be published about being an enlightened entrepreneur.
I need a book cover design for both the e-book and hardcover edition of the book.
The name of the books is:
"An Enlightened Entrepreneur: 57 Meditations On Kicking @$$ In Business & Life."
Author name is "Rob D. Kelly"
The vast majority of the people who see the book cover will see it as a thumbnail image on the Internet (such as on Amazon.com) and so it is likely that the words of the title that should have the largest font should be "Enlightened Entrepreneur."
My initial feeling is that white text on green background is the right color mix.
I'm consider using a visual image for the cover.
I'm open to any visual idea, but one I have is:
An illustration of a business person (e.g. of me in a suit and tie) sitting in a Lotus position (legs crossed) holding out both my hands with palms up (i.e. meditating about business) and my eyes closed
And perhaps the words "Enlightened Entrepreneur" are spelled out in letters in a rainbow shape from one hand to the other).
The attached book covers are ones I like for the following reason:
Have It Your Way -- The title jumps out (I picked this out of a list of 100 thumbnails and it clearly jumped out the most due to being different in coloring).
Networking -- Using an every day old object (a rolodex) is very effective and it's got a cool looking background photo (zen-looking office).
Three Cups of Deceipt -- The black lettering on yellow background makes this title jump out and the author's name is more readable.
