Looking for something fresh, simple/minimalist, fun, clever - and dare I say "cute?" Our brand is aiming to be lighthearted and personable/charming while still offering great value in the music + education vertical.
Might be cool to see the letters "IMT" creatively integrated into whatever the central icon/image is. I like minimalist designs that utilize elements in a space-efficient way! Keep it tight and simple, yet deep. I love it when I first glance at a great logo, seeing just one thing, but when I look closer, more things cleverly woven into the main image/icon begin to emerge. So cool!
We want to incorporate ideas around:
1. Primarily music and songs (imagery: musical notes, singing, listening, sound, etc.)
2. Secondarily memorization, if necessary (imagery: thinking, ideas, having a "eureka moment!" type icons or imagery)
That said, we are also open to the use of characters (animals, nature elements, etc) if that helps deliver a memorable impression to the viewer. But we'll probably STAY AWAY from using elephants and brains. :) Personal preference.
We want to convey the excitement a person would experience if they memorized something challenging that they never thought they could memorize before. We want them to proudly exclaim to friends and family that they memorized something that was challenging for them at first!
A lot of our Youtube users are experiencing that kind of emotion right now after listening to our "Gettysburg Address" song. They're getting A+ grades in school and achieving awards for memorizing what can be deemed a tough speech to memorize.
Currently, it would appear on the surface that our demographic is younger (ages 5-16) because a lot of school memory work is required for kids and teens. However, we also want to make sure our logo speaks to adults too. No matter how old you are, it's not too late memorize new things.
When users see our logo, we want them to feel happiness and excitement about memorizing the next new, challenging thing. And all they have to do it hit play to start memorizing :)
Logo versions needed:
- different color versions (one that can work on white background and one that can work on black/dark background better, as needed)
- animated version, if possible (for usage in video and on website)
- need it to have transparent background
- all necessary deliverable file formats
Cover and profile images: banners + profile images for Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn if possible
Website for reference: http://imemorizedthat.com. Don't feel like you HAVE to use the "light bulb" icon that I used for the logo on the website. I just did that because it was easy to build in Canva, haha. Feel free to go in whatever direction you think fits our brand vision. :)
