Tattoo that commemorates my dog

A tattoo (2-3inches tall and 2-3 inches wide) to honor my dog that passed away on Sunday. A more crisp and clean design would be preferable. I am thinking of a design that is more metaphoric or symbolic in nature. I planted a tree in honor of her and was considering maybe a tree that has an element of Lacey within it? Something that symbolizes love/loss/connection/life, etc? But I am open to other ideas to honor her in a more abstract fashion. She was a hound dog that loved to howl, eat, be outside in the sunshine and on the beach. She was so sweet and loving. She loved to travel and came with us everywhere all over the east coast. We planted a pink dogwood tree in front of our house to commemorate her and will put a plaque beneath it. I included a picture of the tree we planted and then what it will look like full grown and in bloom.

I am including some pictures of her to get her energy but also some of some tattoos that had a good vibe too.
