http://ruzuku.com/ - It's colorful, engaging, but still not overwhelming http://www.vworker.com/ - I like the layout of the homepage. The colors and design is a bit too sharp and cold for me. But the homepage seems to say everything about the site without cluttering it. http://www.kickstarter.com/ - I don't know. I just like it. What can I say? http://www.rockethub.com/creatives - informative but still clean. Exciting but still professional. Large Buttons!!! I love that. http://www.indiegogo.com/- Basically the same as all of the above.

THE FILE ATTACHED DESCRIBES THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS WE WANT ON EACH PAGE, BUT IT IS NOT INTENDED TO SPECIFY THE LOCATION OF THE ELEMENT ON THE PAGE. BE CREATIVE! WE LEAVE THIS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU. 1:The homepage should have a short paragraph about what we do and why. Also, it should have a slide of our latest projects where people can find pictures and information about the build. Also, I would like somehow to direct them to post a project suggestion as well as check out the archives. It should be active and visually stimulating, but not crowded and cluttered. Big buttons and simplicity please. 2: Individual Project Page- The next layout will be a summary of an individual project. Photos of the product, as well as performance specs and any other information relating to that project. A combination of text boxes, pictures, a video box and buttons (suggestion button and buy kit button). Not tied to any particular layout at all. This page should have a very modern and techy, but not cluttered feel to it. 3: Past projects archive page. The next layout is a gallery of all our past projects. Each project post would consist of the title of the project, a picture, and text right next to the picture. This would be replicated for each individual project on the gallery. Also include the suggestion button somewhere on the page. Creative layout please!

The website I have right now is based on a wordpress theme that I installed. There is nothing about it that is permanent. I like that it is clean and I like the GENERAL home page layout, but it's also too boring and leaves me feeling tired after looking at it for a few minutes. It is just a placeholder until I can get the full site launched.
