*For every CFM (cubic feet per minute) of conditioning air that leaves the home through the stack effect (warm air rising) fan exhausting or wind blowing against the house. One CFM of unconditioned air must enter at the lower level of the home. The replacement air is unconditioned- hot filtered or heated.
*The Dept. of Energy recommends that the first dollars spent on retro fitting your home should be spent on: Air sealing, Adding insulation at R49 and sealing HVAC duct work with duct mastic.
