After this contest is over, I would like to be able to work with the winning designer to design every other needed page... This here is just a start. Our website is basically an online portal to connect musicians and music teachers, allowing students to download and view music lessons uploaded by other community members. The community members posts videos of their music lesson, the student pays, downloads the video, and learns the material...

No current website

Any type of photography should be related to piano or guitar... The target market for this site is 18 - 40 year old, music generated male, so things need to be both clean and accesible, and must be able to be transferred to a working site when it is time for programming. I would like things to be fresh with solid, familiar sections.... Please check the website address I provided for that is the type of clean, cool look I am looking for.

Ok first thing... this website doesn't represent my company... it iS the company!!! So the design plays a huge part in the success of my business... I'm excited.... The first page is the main/landing page. This page needs to include the following: 1) Company logo must be flawlessly integrated into the design of the website... Preferably the logo will be in plain view, yet still works into the overall design plan for the website. 2) There needs to be a search bar along the top, where people can search for videos or community members. There also needs to be clickable icons/buttons for "Browse", "How it Works", "Band Room", plus an option to Log In/Sign Up Free, or a "My Profile" link assuming the member had already logged in. 3) Our site is focused on piano and guitar, so any pictures you incorporate should reflect those instruments. 4) I would like to have a section for the following "What is Minor Society?", "Featured Keyboard Player" and "Featured Guitar Player"... I would also like to have posted "Top 10 Keyboard Lessons" and "Top 10 Guitar Lessons" 5) I would also like a Stay Connected section of the page that displays the company's facebook, twitter, and other social media sites, via icons from each site. The second page is a User Profile Page for Minor Society members... Think of Facebook or ReverbNation type pages... I would like to incorporate the following: 1) User's name must be present on top of site. 2) A place the user can showcase and upload pictures 3) The option to message the user or "Become a Fan" 4) A place the user can showcase and upload both lesson videos (Preferably in a list of all video lessons that particular user has uploaded), As well as non-lesson videos, Maybe one section would say, "Music Lessons" and the other would say "Videos". Lesson videos can both be rated as well as comments can be left about each video, so if possible, please make a rating section and comment sections/button available. 5) There also needs to be an "about me" section where the user can fill out and describe general information about him/herself as well as their music and musical talents. 6) Also there should be a box/section that indicates the rating of the member. This would be an indication of whether the member is a Rookie, Amateur, or PRO... This is based upon the amount of times the videos were downloaded, plus the average ratings of the videos, both which should be displayed on the page.... 7) There should also be a place where people can link their other sites with icons... For example, there should be a section that has all the facebook, twitter, pinterest, and other social media site icons so each member can have all of their social media sites displayed somewhat discreetly, yet all in one place. I believe this is everything..... Anyone who could do this for me would forever be a friend of mine ;-)

I'm really not into silly, quirky designs... This website is a type of club or "society" if you will.. So it should feel inviting a be a place someone can spend a couple hours.

I have two logos posted here... I haven't decided which to use as the head of the website.  They both have two completely different feels, one much softer than the other.  Please only use one to keep the flow, but  let the logo reflect the design path you are taking..... if that makes any sense at all lol. Good luck to everyone!!! Please keep in mind that this is a site for social networking, so things need to be sleek and smooth and cutting edge... Of course you guys are amazing, so this should be easy for you ;-)
