One page design - Dog school / social network

We are from Norway, and run a school for dogowners. We have an existing webpage, http://www.familiehunden.no/ but we are not to happy with it. To get more people at the site we are now trying an social network. Hopefully this will get a lot of people interested in the website. i want not only people looking for classes for their dogs, but also people that are interested in dogs in general. Here they will find a lot of good information about dogs.

The webpage is a readymade social network. the page is build by a layout manager, and is devided in 7 zones. every zone can contain html, java,css and so on. im not to good in programming, so i maybe need some readymade html from the winning designer.

Our target is people that are interested in dogs in general. This means there are people of all ages and gender. There will be people from 7 - 90 years old. However the majority of the customer is grown people. This groups is not the most used with internet. they go on the internet and they look for a class for theyr dog. when they find a page, this have to be rather "simple" and not to complicated, or they will find another place.

We would like a clean, easy to orient and a bit creative page.

We need a great new frontpage that really stick out. The frontpage have to tell people immediate :

- This is a dogschool
- Here I can get tons of information about dogs
- This is a social network with blogs, forum, groups, pictures, videos and lots of more.

This must be the first thing the reader see.

I also need to have some information on the first page about who we are, so people can read about us.

We need to tell people on the first page where we have classes. This is in to different cities.
